There’s something extra special about a handmade baby blanket. It can become part of those first sleepy cuddles, stroller rides, nursery photos, and all the little moments that happen before you realize how quickly they’ve grown.
I welcome custom baby blanket requests for anyone looking for something more personal than a ready-made piece.
I work from existing crochet patterns, which means you can choose a pattern you already love, select something similar to work I’ve made before, or ask me to help you find a pattern that fits the style you’re looking for.
From there, we can make it your own through choices like:
• Colors or nursery palette
• Yarn and fiber preferences
• Blanket size
• Pattern style and texture
• Special occasion or gifting needs
• Preferred completion date
You don’t need to know crochet terminology or have every detail figured out before reaching out. As long as we have an existing pattern to work from, we can discuss the rest together.
Every custom request is considered individually based on the project, materials, timing, and my current workload. I’ll always go over the details, estimated price, and expected turnaround time with you before anything is finalized.

I’m Nichole, but most people call me Nikki. I’m a crochet artist and pattern writer from Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula, an animal lover, and someone with more project ideas than places to put them.
There’s usually something in progress around here—and several other things patiently waiting their turn. I make pieces from other designers’ patterns as well as my own, choosing projects that catch my interest and letting my love of color and texture lead the way.
This little shop is where I get to share that part of myself with you—the things I make, the ideas I’m working on, and the person behind them.
Serenity Crochet is a one-woman operation with questionable management. 😂💙
My Chihuahua, Sketchy, supervises, and my sugar gliders, JoJo and Jelly, have absolutely no marketable crochet skills. What they lack in productivity, they make up for in cuteness—and somehow, they’re still the ones running the place. 🐾💕

Serenity Crochet was born from the idea that peace can be found in the smallest moments. In the quiet rhythm of a crochet hook, the softness of yarn through your hands, and the comfort of creating something slowly and intentionally.
The name “Serenity” was inspired by the belief that while life isn’t always calm, we can still choose grace, acceptance, and moments of stillness along the way.
Every piece I create is stitched with that intention—to bring warmth, comfort, creativity, and a little sense of peace into everyday life.

Some of the patterns used in my crochet pieces are my own original designs, while others are created by talented crochet designers.
I design and publish my own patterns, allowing me to create unique pieces that reflect my personal style and creativity. When I use a pattern from another designer, proper credit is always given when required.
No matter the source of the pattern, every piece is handmade by me with care, intention, and attention to detail.
Do you take custom orders?
